Sleepy Parrot Records is born

"My friends are my power!" I know... I'm starting this off with a Kingdom Hearts reference but I didn't know how else to start this post in a way that captures the spirit of starting a label. In many ways creating Sleepy Parrot Records was the next logical step as an artist but it wasn't obvious to me, nor easy to get the courage to do so. I've been surrounded by so many lovely people in my life recently and have made big personal steps of growth on my own that have put me in a position where I have the self-confidence and support to pursue whatever creative project I sink my teeth in to. I'm also excited that this is an opportunity to help my friends in a way that gives them ownership and agency over their work by continuing to support them in bigger and better ways. 

This is definitely a small label, but also mighty for what this platform will allow us to do! Let this be the start to a wonderful journey full of friends, vibes, and of course music.
